| This model is a replica of a 1903 Springfield M1 military carbine. The M1 was a powerful and reliable rifle that was the military weapon of choice until the early years of W.W.II. This gun measures just under eight and three quarters inches from butt to barrel tip. The bolt is spring loaded and is pulled back and released sharply to fire. I have seen this model finished in black lacquer and gold chrome. It is marked Marx on the right side of barrel just under the rear sight. |
